Shruti is a South Asian band based in Seattle that is comprised of talented and fun-loving music-enthusiasts who have performed at various concerts. Shruti aims to provide a channel for live musical entertainment of South Asian music in the US, while bringing awareness to socio-economic issues and raising funds for non-profit organizations.Shruti performs light music ranging from semi-classical songs to the latest Bollywood hits and has bedazzled audiences for several years in and around the NorthWest. Shruti has been performing live shows to spread the indian mainstream music and helped raise funds for CRY (Child Relief and You), SICF( Seattle International Children's Festival), AID, Northwest Folklife Festival & more. Shruti muscians have also performed at various venues including Seattle Town Hall, PPI etc.

Although performing live shows is not a profession for anyone in the band, it has been a labor of love for music and passion for a link with the community that has brought the band together each year. We have often helped non-profit organizations raise money in the tens of thousands of dollars.100% of the funds raised are given to the charity organization. Shruti would like to thank all the members of the audience and the fans that have emailed us so many times. Without the generosity of our viewers, we would not be able to share the music or help the charities raise money for their respective causes.
